This second week in December, in the spirit of spreading peace and kindness, let’s perform a random act of kindness for a stranger. Three ideas include:
Bake cookies or treats, wrap them in a nice package, and deliver them to a lonely neighbor. If you are hesitant to knock on their door, add a kind note and leave the package on their door step.
When grocery shopping, assist someone in reaching something on a top shelf or help them load their groceries into their car.
If you are in an area where you frequently see a homeless person on a specific corner, bus station, etc., pack a lunch with a sandwich, a bag of chips, and a bottle of water, and hand it to them the next time you walk or drive by.
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”
Wishing you peace, love, adventure, and kindness,
